The new National rankings are out from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America highlighting the 100 most challenging places to live with allergies. The rankings are based on three criteria.

• Pollen scores
• Number of allergy medications used per patient
• And number of allergy specialists per patient

The five cities topping the list include, in order,
1. Knoxville, TN
2. Louisville, KY
3. Chattanooga, TN
4. Dayton, OH
5. Charlotte, NC

Nine Florida cities show up on the list:  Jacksonville ranks highest at number 55 and Orlando comes in at number 77. The report’s findings come as no surprise to Hometown Health TV’s Allergy and Asthma Specialist, Ed Neuzil.
